I wanted my dog H's claws cut, when she was a pup H didn't mind me clipping them but now at 8 months ive go no chance! she is a Chinese red dog and very very stubborn, i rang sharon for some advice.First visit - meet and great no claws were cut.Second visit - some of the equipment was switched on so H could get used to the noises Third visit - H was introduced to the dreaded claw clippers, no claws were clipped, sharon advised me to to introduce the clippers into her daily routine, place them near her food bowl, next to her bed when H was lying down pretend to cut my nails and say snip snip snip in an excitable voice, H got used to the clippers she would give me her paw for just a few seconds and i would tap her nails with the clipper,Fourth visit - break through H allowed sharon to cut 2 claws! H is going to be a work in progress.If it wasn't for sharon i would of had to have H sedated at the vets in order to have her nails clipped!!! i was not confident in clipping them myself, so thank you Frankie & Pippas
